Weekly Scripture Reading: Job 8 - 31

Well fellow Scripture journeyers, I am LOVING reading Job. I have to be honest, I've read this book several times and it is one that I have not done a deeper study on, but I sincerely want to! I'm definitely planning on diving deeper into this book as soon as I finish my current study on the Seven Feasts. That being said, I don't have many insights or thoughts to share with you this week, because I mostly left feeling a deep desire to dig much deeper into the text. However, there were quite a few sections that I found deeply encouraging and I wanted to share one of those with you. If you read along with me - I'm sure you saw it and will recognize it instantly!

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. Job 13:15

This verse has been SO VERY encouraging to me throughout the years. I can't read it without the words of the song "Though You Slay Me" by Shane and Shane echoing through my mind and heart.
