Weekly Scripture Reading: 1 Chronicles 14-29
We finished 1 Chronicles this week. The second half of this book highlights several events of David's life that we read about in previous books, with some added details. There was one verse that we heard a few times that I wanted to highlight and encourage you with.
And the LORD preserved David wherever he went. 1 Chronicles 18:13b
I love this verse, it reminds me of these verses...
He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, 2 Peter 1:3
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Matthew 6:26
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
We are children of God, and He preserves us and cares for us. So if you are feeling like you are barely hanging on, be encouraged by the Word of the Lord. He cares for you and He is preserving you, just as He preserved David. You are His child and He loves you. Take heart.
Be Blessed!
