Two-State Dissolution

The House of Representatives has passed a nonbinding resolution supporting a two-state solution for peace in the Middle East. "Nonbinding" here means that it can't be enforced and isn't associated with any law. Essentially it only serves as a message that says "we disagree with the Trump administration's approach to peace."
I suspect that this is a big reason for the accusations of Russian collusion leveled at President Trump, which have recently come to a head in his impeachment trials. Israel is very important to God; His promises, prophecies, and very name are tied to the land. It's no wonder then that our enemy, Satan, is also very interested in what happens to Israel, especially in national policies surrounding the Jewish nation. There is so much pushback to Trump's Deal of the Century peace plan - even to the point of removing national leaders from power. If either Benjamin Netanyahu (who's dealing with his own criminal allegations) or Trump or both leaders are removed, Trump's plan will likely be dead in the water. The spiritual battle going on over Israel is growing more and more apparent by the day.
The Bible is clear that some form of a two-state solution will be in play in the last days, in the very middle of the Tribulation. In the passage below, the apostle John is told to measure the temple of God (located in Israel, of course). This is a future temple that doesn't currently exist.
Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, "Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months (3.5 years) ~Revelation 11:1-2

(This may be why both Trump and Netanyahu are being attacked at the same time. Both of them stand in the way of this plan happening!)

It's not an official statement, but Netanyahu has expressed that he's willing to serve as prime minister only 6 months initially in the case of a Unity Government being formed with His opponent Benny Gantz. In that case, Gantz would take over for 18 months, followed by Netanyahu for the remaining 18 months in the term.

This opinion article highlights why Israel's current election process is so important and prophetically weighty. Benny Gantz's policies would invite national disaster on Israel.
