Gantz Makes Bid for Unity Government

Updated: Jun 16, 2022

A global government...this isn't the first time it's been proposed and it won't be the last. The need even makes some sense, to control a highly contagious virus we would need a coordinated effort on the part of every nation, not only for health reasons, but also for economic ones.

I'll address this topic much more in depth in the coming days. As this Coronavirus pandemic (or plandemic) plays out, we are rocketing toward that inevitable outcome described in the book of Revelation: one world government, one world economy, and one world religion with a single global leader at the center of it all.

Less than two weeks into Gantz's three week timeline to form a government of his own, he has changed course and is moving toward a unity government with Netanyahu. This move has shocked and angered many of his supporters, as Gantz had previously promised never to join a government with Netanyahu at the helm. Also problematic for many is that Gantz has accepted the Arab Joint List into his party should a unity government be pursued (it's the same controversial party from the last news update).

This new government is not yet set in stone. Negotiations will be necessary before Israel moves forward, either with Netanyahu as prime minister, a unity government, or...wait for it...another election cycle.

Now, it's Netanyahu's turn to try, for the third time in a year, to form a government.

Gantz was elected Knesset Speaker, but may take the office of Foreign Minister soon.

Gantz cited the corona pandemic as one of his reasons for heading toward unity, saying the time of crisis called for a “national emergency government.”

As Amir Tsarfati notes, Netanyahu's corruption trial could disqualify him from serving as prime minister, and Gantz may have just lost his voters' confidence after breaking his promise to never join a government with his opponent. In other words, even if a unity government does form, Israel's leadership is standing on shaky ground for the time being.
