Russia's just making sure the Golan Heights is safe, guys. 😉😒
The article below paints Russia's patrols as keeping peace in the demilitarized zone between Syria and Israel, providing a buffer between the two nations. The prophet Ezekiel, however, has revealed Russia's ultimate role in the last days: leading a multi-national army to the 'mountains of Israel' in order to plunder their wealth.
Speaking of Gog, of the land of Magog (an ancient name for the land of modern day Russia):
“‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land.'” ~Ezekiel 38:10-12
Gog then goes about his mission to plunder by taking his massive army to the mountains of Israel. Why? In order to take the spoil...
We know a mountainous region is the location of the wealth of Israel, because that's where Gog's horde ends up when God decisively intervenes and destroys them.
"I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him." ~Ezekiel 38:21-22
So why is Russia starting to patrol the Golan Heights? At a time when this specific coalition of nations is rapidly forming before our eyes, Israel is becoming a energy giant rich in natural gas and oil (a massive supply of which is specifically located in the Golan, by the way), and the Russian economy continues to suffer and decline, it's more than possible that Gog's "evil scheme" has already come into his mind.
He's likely scoping out the region as he plans his next move.

Major Nadav Ben Hour of the Israeli Defense Force recently wrote an analysis of the brewing conflict in the Middle East. He predicts a regional war coming - the biggest in recorded history.
"The potential for yet another war [is] one of unprecedented scope and complexity," which, "could open the way for thousands, even hundreds of thousands of fighters from all over the Arab and Islamic world to participate.”
The prophet Ezekiel, who lived over 2000 years ago, saw a war like this coming too, but was much more specific; he actually went so far as to name many of the countries involved and for what purpose they would attack Israel.
The Middle East is nearing a tipping point, and the war of Ezekiel 38 & 39, even according to experts, is very close.
