Sudden Destruction?

Benjamin Netanyahu and Benny Gantz have both been invited to the White House to discuss the 'Deal of the Century.' Netanyahu feels optimistic about the mysterious peace plan, giving a prediction about Trump's intentions going forward:
"I think that the president is seeking to give Israel peace and security, the peace and security that it deserves."
That phrase, peace and security, should be very familiar to anyone who studies the time of the end. Could this plan be a part of this prophecy from Paul's epistle to the Thessalonian church?
While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. ~1 Thessalonians 5:3
Could the implementation of this peace plan (or a better, more grand version of it) be the thing that immediately precedes that sudden destruction (aka the Tribulation)? I think so, but as always we'll have to wait and see.
Of course people will definitely be saying "peace and safety" after the Gog-Magog conflict. All of Israel's enemies will be destroyed in a single night! Even if Trump's peace plan is rejected by the Palestinian nations now (and it will definitely be rejected, because war is not possible otherwise), it may be accepted when there are no more dissenting voices in the Middle East.
The time is very close now.
