Five days after multiple nations enact new sanctions on Iran, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is encouraging other nations to join them in putting maximum pressure on Iran. The Iranian government has made threats, and even taken actions, to violate the conditions of the Iran Nuclear Deal in order to intimidate other countries to lift the sanctions already in play against it. Pompeo, knowing that Iran is extreme enough to actually launch a nuclear weapon, is attempting to hit them where it hurts the most...the money.

Iran increases cost of gas by nearly 50% amid US sanctions

Only one day after gas prices skyrocketed, the Iranian citizens started to protest in mass, creating a different kind of pressure in the Iranian government. It quickly turned violent, with many people killed, and many more people injured. Obviously, they're angry about more than a few extra dollars at the pump. Their very survival is on the line, with a war hungry leadership bent on destroying Israel and the US regardless of the effect it has on their own country.
Unrest has been brewing for years, and now it's beginning to reach a tipping point. In my view, the Iranian regime needs to do something quickly before the populace starts a serious rebellion.
