Collision Course

The world is on a collision course with the prophetic.

Israel is increasingly standing alone, prosperous, well protected and secure, while her enemies all around are forming alliances against the land. This is exactly what the Bible tells us it will be like before the coming Gog-Magog war. It also tells us that Russia wants the wealth of Israel. The Russian and Iranian economies are bleeding and their current influence in the Middle East is about to severely shrink. Their military power has a time limit and they know it. Can these things, which were prophesied, realistically be rolled back or reversed? Can the world powers put a biblical war on hold for a year or two down the line, when it's being set up so quickly? I really doubt it, friends.

And here's the kicker: this war will usher in the Tribulation period, when God's wrath is poured out on the earth, punishing those who reject Christ and live in rebellion against Him. Its purpose is also to prepare the earth for when Christ comes back to physically and tangibly rule over it.

This isn't hype or hysteria; the biblical set up for the Tribulation is really happening. These posts were never meant to scare you or panic anyone. I post these things to prepare you for what God tells us will happen next. Christians, we need to remember that just as God has revealed these things in advance, He's also in total control. We have no reason to be afraid, but we have every reason to be encouraged and hope in the Lord! He loves you SO MUCH!

For the unbelievers, God loves YOU, so much that He's going to show you His power. Many people will come to faith in Jesus during the Tribulation by living through it, but it's better that you believe right now. God doesn't want you to suffer His wrath for sin (which is what the Tribulation period is), He wants you to trust him with your whole heart, and put your sin-debt on Jesus Christ, who died in your place and mine as a perfect payment for sin. He wants you to live! The majority of people living on earth after the rapture will not live to the end of the Tribulation; most will die of starvation, cataclysmic natural disasters, or supernatural horrors.

Jesus Christ is coming to take His church from the earth very soon. It could be this year. Now is the time to get our lives right with God and other people. Now is the time to turn away from sin, to forgive others so that God will forgive us, and to cling to our great King.

I can't tell you how burdened I feel for those who aren't watching and aren't ready. We build up our kingdoms here, wanting to get married, get promoted, get seen, get published, get a house, get an education, get in shape, get a family, get popular, get laid, get respect, and get entertained. These things have some value now, but they ultimately don't last. They will be taken away in a moment. Life turns on a dime. We are standing at the very door of eternity.
