In the face of President Trump's warning of even more severe sanctions, Iran still refuses to stop inciting terror around the world. In this article, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is quoted, saying the following:
“We will never go to the negotiation table in a position of weakness…We will finally get the enemy to sit at the negotiating table someday, like before.”
Given Iran's rapidly deteriorating economy and recent civilian protests across the nation, it appears that they will soon have some kind of leverage over Israel and possibly the United States. If President Rouhani's words are to be believed, it's likely that he's planning to force a negotiation in Iran's favor through war...and an overwhelmingly large army.

The US is actively opposing Russia and Germany's jointly owned gas pipeline, blocking Russia's path to a more stable economy. That won't sit well with the Kremlin.

This is a true plague of abnormally large locusts. Many countries are being affected, and food shortages are coming.

And look at this...While other countries are losing wealth, food, and prospects, Israel is thriving!

I know that God is taking care of His people and provoking the surrounding nations to jealousy. I know because the Bible predicted it thousands of years before it happened and now my eyes are seeing it firsthand. When God woke me up to the reality of Jesus' soon return almost five years ago, I never expected that the fulfillments of God's promises would become so extreme and dramatic. Look at how God is provoking the nations: they aren't merely envious of Israel's position politically and financially. Many of them are in a death spiral and it seems like Israel is floating in a protective bubble, unaffected by the troubles of its neighbors. Not only are they being protected, but this little nation, one that was birthed almost out of nothing 71 years ago is now an energy superpower and rapidly gaining worldwide influence. This sharp contrast between Israel and the rest of the Middle East is staggering to behold. What we're seeing really doesn't make a whole lot of sense if we interpret it in a purely logical way, but if you open the Bible and dare to believe what God says...MAN. It's plain to us because God has made it plain to us: there is a GOD in Israel who keeps His promises and loves the people called His own. I reminds me of a verse from one of my favorite hymns, It Is Well with My Soul: And LORD haste the day when my faith shall be sight The clouds be rolled back as a scroll The trump shall resound and the LORD shall descend Even so, it is well with my soul No, the clouds haven't been rolled back, and no, I haven't seen angels or departed souls or my Savior's flaming eyes...yet. But my faith IS becoming sight, more and more every day. What a gift! It's so strange and sad to look around and see people going about their business, totally oblivious to the fact that human history is wrapping up and the next chapter in God's redemptive plan is about to begin. But I, and others who are watching, really have no excuse to be oblivious. When we see the signs, how the world stage is being set up for the final seven year period (and really, it's a highly specific and detailed picture that scripture paints of that time), and how increasingly dramatic those signs are becoming, how can we not be blown away at how powerful and wonderful the God of the Bible is? Whenever I'm stressed about life or worried about tomorrow, my mind and heart are quickly calmed when I remember that God is in control. If He can be faithful to Israel and true to His word to them, then He'll be faithful to me too. That's part of what makes Bible prophecy so valuable to the believer.
As the scripture says:
"Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands." ~Deuteronomy 7:9
