Passion
Passion doesn’t die, it only grows.
And as it grows, it ebs and flows.
Sometimes it’s low, just like the tide.
Don’t think this means that it has died.
For in its own time it will rise,
Come rolling in, a grand surprise.
Like a tide, patience is needed,
As we give love unrequited.
And as your love grows ever still,
You’ll find your passion still brings thrill.
So don’t give up when shores seem dry,
But remain true and passion will thrive.
